Just bought an LG Bluray player [model 645 = £99 @ John Lewis] which complements the Tivo very nicely. Besides Bluray & DVD, it has apps for Now TV, Netflix & Amazon Prime as well as I-Player & Youtube and they all work really well.

The following channels are set to launch on Virgin Media by November.

-Latest TV (August 28th 2014) - Brighton & Hove only.
-Sheffield Live TV (September 23rd 2014) - Sheffield only.
-Bay TV Liverpool (October 2014) - Liverpool only.
-ITV Be (October 8th 2014) - UK Wide.

I thought itv be was sky exclusive?? Or was that another channel? What on earth will be on itv be which isnt on itv2/3/4?!

ah bay tv! i'll be getting that. i drunkenly emailed them asking for a job broadcasting a tv show from my bedroom with me interviewing guests as we drink alcohol. i received no reply.

ITV Be will be on Sky, Virgin and other networks.

I've read that this is also where they will be showing their scripted reality rubbish eg moving TOWIE fron ITV2 to ITV Be.

A: Virgin Media, Smallworld and UPC Ireland are now ALL own by Liberty Global.

Q: WHEN WILL SKY SPORTS NEWS HQ HD AND SKY NEWS HD LAUNCH?
A: Base on information Media Boy HQ has seen Sky Sports News HQ HD and Sky News HD are not set to launch until early 2015.

Q: WHY AM I NOT GETTING ''SKY1 +1'' OR ''DISNEY CHANNEL HD'' FOR?
A: MTV CLASSIC and Disney Channel HD is only broadcasting in Smallworld and UPC Ireland areas right now.

That would be far too good for local tv, maybe you should ask Channel 5. They'll have a gap to fill when CBB ends.
