tivo box?

Hi,

I am querying about getting an tivo box. i currently have just the original vbox but i want to get a tivo box too.

However the tivo box is not for downstairs where the main vbox is, i want it in a bedroom. i dont want one downstairs just the main one in my room.

Will i need to get one for the main room downstairs so i can connect it to my room upstairs? if so will i need an additional vbox in my room too or just an extra tivo box?

As this post most likely suggests, i am quite confused and i would appreiciate any help possible.

Thanks

Re: tivo box?

It's not a problem. You can have a TiVo added in your bedroom, and leave the existing box exactly as it is now.

ps. Welcome to the forum.

Re: tivo box?

If you phone VM they will arrange to supply you with a Tivo and tell you the cost of that additional box. You may find that one of the new bundles will be attractive, the agent you speak to will be able to give you details.

Where you have it installed will be up to you. There are some limitations as to where it can be installed but the installers are good and will sort out the cabling. Just don't expect them to sling cables over a roof or drill through floors.
