i was about to ask this question myself den! i have XL tv, L phone and XL broadband i was hunting about whether i should just get VIP at this rate but realised it probably doesnt exist anymore and wondered if it it was one of those stupid named packages now...so seems nothing has in essence changed.
the new names are appalling btw no idea who thought those up. i didnt find them funny just embarrasing really...

Yes, although most do not take into account the cost of an extra box. For example I have a TiVo downstairs, and V+ upstairs, which matches the Premiere collection, but nothing similar on the new bundles.

When I was given the price (the standard cost advertised ) Sales knew I had a Tivo & a V+. So push for the standard price if that`s your choice

Question:- is the "insider" called " A516 " by any chance ?

Doesn't look like Sky Sports 5 is going to launch in HD from what I have found, could be wrong though.

Could well be that way harry. Free broadband is very tempting and help keep people away from BT too

Buy BT broadband, get free sport. Buy Sky Sports, get free broadband. Seems a sensible response from Sky.

Really depends where you are as it is ADSL so nowhere near VM speeds. But Sky normally charge their TV customers £7.50pm for it so quite a saving if true. A comparable fibre offer would be £12.50pm. Realistically, Sky might charge a bit more say £15pm, I speculate.

£20p/m plus £15 line rental for Skys 38mb service mate, it's what i got quoted anyway lol, but £7.50p/m for 6 months. The 76mbs is £30p/m plus £15 line rental.

I think Andrews meaning if there's to be a fibre offer like the standard broadband one when took with Sky Sports , post 1541 clearly states there will be some kind of deal however I'm sure it won't be free like standard BB.
