Is all bluetooth the same
Hi all...
I have a Samsung S3 which I connect to a small Sonivo speaker fine...
However I also have a Tesco Hudl tablet thing which has blue tooth but will not contact... Are there any format issues which would cause this as pulling hair out on this....
Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated
Many thanks for your time
Regards Mike

Re: Is all blue tooth the same
I know there are variants and the latest is 4.1.
Have you made the tablets bluetooth discoverable? it need this on first contact, but will be ok after.

Re: Is all blue tooth the same
Are other devices connected at the same time?

Re: Is all bluetooth the same
You do not want to make the tablet visible, you want to make the speaker discoverable.
Most bluetooth speakers will only automatically enter discoverable mode the first time you switch it on, before you connect it to you first device. After that it will not enter discoverable mode again unless you disconnect it from all devices (i.e. the S3).
My best advice is turn off the S3 and any other device the speaker has been connected to before, then read the manual on how to put it into discoverable mode.
