Re: Malaysian Airline plane disappears

The Chinese supply ship has moved a fair bit further South East now and back in radio range for AIS/VTS which is pretty consistent with the new debris sighting locations.

Re: Malaysian Airline plane disappears

Presumably, their respective governments. It's not quite as expensive as it seems, with the planes in particular the pilots will have had to do the hours in training if they hadn't done them on operations.

I feel they will gain valuable knowledge from this for the future, however i hope it is never needed again.

There is no negative looking for this missing plane unless we start losing more life.

Why do they keep saying the black boxes only transmit for 30 days?

Thats not entirely true, i worked for a owner operator and had the Black box CMMs - Component Maintenance Manuals (FDR & CVR) from Honeywell, and the 30 days is minimum at certain temperatures and pressures.
