BT have taken the crown as the UK's fastest ISP according to Netflix's speed index..(for streaming)

"Generally speaking we don’t pay much attention to Netflix’s monthly reports, unless something interesting happens, and that’s because their Speed Index is only capable of reflecting the average performance of all Netflix-based video streams on each ISP. In other words, it’s useless as a measure of general end-user internet connectivity speed or capability but sadly some won’t report it that way" Hardly a glowing endorsement of the way Netflix came to this result. I'd say the Coronation is on indefinite hold.

The only time these really get interesting are when a particular operator shows a rapid and sudden drop. I can think of one in a country not too far away that experienced that around the time they started managing their network.
