Surely if an agreement for these is reached it would make sense to also include Clubland TV and Planet Pop.

Couldn't the same thing be said about MTV Classic?

And what about Capital/Heart TV too? Virgin could do with a few more music channels.

Thing is though Virgin have the music on demand service too, i do agree VM could do with more linar music channels.

When VM removed some of the music channels some time ago, they pointed viewers to their music on demand service and more or less said that music channels were no longer needed.
Perhaps that's why there are some music channels missing? Of course, LG may now have a different strategy and they may well appear.
The fact that music channels have been losing viewers may mean that the channels want to be on as many platforms as possible to try and maintain their diminishing customer base.
On the other hand LG may well take the view that, as they are now less popular and music on demand exists, it can save some money by not having them.

The number of ad breaks and the length of them puts me off the linear music channels. I always watch my music videos via Music On Demand, I think it's the best way and puts you in control.

One thing I would love to see in Music On Demand is create your own playlist or add to queue. Probably wouldn't take much to create a TiVo app?

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV 2014
Local TV operators have reacted angrily to where they are to be positioned on the Virgin TV programme guide - behind Horror Channel and CBS Reality.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV 2014
Despite the better picture quality it seems a little redundant with YouTube, which does both playlists and a TV queue.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV 2014
The reason for my comment was Clubland and and Planet Pop are also owned by AATW. Surely a new deal will have to be inked, to get channel AKA and Now Music onto the main VM network, it would make sense to add the 2 other channels also. We know VM they have the room.

Which was my point about MTV Classic. Similarly, it could have been assumed that the new contract for MTV channels would have included MTV Classic... but it wasn't added.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV 2014
True but that was under previous ownership, i can't see LG letting extra channels that are available at what i assume would be a reasonable cost slip through the net.
