I agree there's a difference, but not the one you say. The difference is that one day, before the Earth ends (should that be a capital E? Hmmm) SA might appear on VM whereas the SM bouquet will not be going into M+ ever.

However given that Sky are actively telling us that it is exclusive to them, it is just as silly as my proposition to say that it is coming soon.

I guess it comes down to your definition of the word 'soon', mine isn't 'some undefined time before I die' and I don't think many other people's is either.

But I would stress that these posts don't upset me, they just make me think that the poster is, well you know.

I agree,

From my position I do slightly object to paying a £7 HD premium sub and not have the full HD channels (SS3HD, SS4HD, F1HD and SSN HD), I appreciate that they are being witheld but considering this £7 is going direct to Sky I think its wrong especially as the SD is "not standard" SD.

also is it only now £5 for just Sky premium in HD or am I making this up?

with regards to SA its not a premium product so therefore they (sky) can do what the like here)

Or is it just one person who 'Absolutely knows it to be definitely coming soon' yet refuses to validate his views and has been consistently proven to be wrong/mad*

Priceless. We've recently been informed of the possibility of some new music and movie channels and been given the reason for the belief in that possibility. We've also been told of the appearance of some Winter Olympic streams shortly.

But because, in your opinion that isn't enough, you think this forum in in need of your special brand of unsubstantiated nonsense in order to entertain us while we wait patiently for something real. Yes I do take it seriously. This forum isn't here for you just to post 'rumours' for a laugh, you have to give provenance or at least a bit of variation. I think the problem here about SA is that the rumours started..what two years ago? were from 'sources'. These have recently transformed into rumours from those within this community and no recent proof or corroborating evidence for the rumours have been forthcoming.
