Search problem on V+.

Is anyone else finding that the search facility is not working correctly on their V+ (or any other type of box for that matter)?

Upon going through the 'Home' and '5' route to search for TV programmes that I know are on the EPG, it comes up with 'nothing found' or some rubbish not related to the search carried out.

Could it be my box or is this a more general problem

It's working fine for me on an SA V+. Try giving your box a reboot.

Re: Search problem on V+.

Thanks SP, I tried that yesterday and it made no difference. Today, however, all is well again

Sometimes it's better if you pull the plug out, wait 20 seconds and then reboot. This has normally fixed problems on the V+ for me. If it happens again, try that and see if it fixes the problem.

Re: Search problem on V+.

The same problem has reappeared again, as it does every so often.

In a similar thread ISTR reading that Spiderplant said that VM had done something to fix this.

Does anybody know what this was? Will this be fixed automatically, or should a fault be logged?

Why does this keep happening?
