What do we hope for in 2014 from VirginMedia?
We can pretty much agree 2013 was a great year for VM, but what do you want from them in 2014?
I'd like to see some if not all of these
- More supported Android devices for TV Anywhere
- 3G Streaming for the TV Anywhere Apps
- An increase in the Channels available to stream on the app
- An increase in Multi Room Streaming channels
- Sky Atlantic and other missing Sky Channels
- DLNA Streaming from a NAS or other devices (is this possible?)
- A Price Freeze

What about you guys?

It would be nice if we had a few more OTT apps like Lovefilm and others but l can't argue with much above.

By heck Dave its not even the New Year and your pessimism is sweeping all before it.

I see some sort of box swap back up feature has been added, that allows you to copy over the following when having a box replaced.
1. Series Links
2. Thumb ratings
3. Auto record wishlists
It's in the TV Anywhere > Manage My TiVo options page
http://anywhere.virginmedia.com/tivo/boxswap/
Quote:
How to copy TiVo settings
If your TiVo box has been swapped for a new one or you have taken an extra TiVo box you can copy some settings to the new box when it’s on the same account.
This needs to be done within 14 days of getting the new TiVo box, after that your original settings won’t be available.
The settings you can copy are:
1. Series Links,
2. Thumb ratings
3. Auto record wishlists.
Here’s how you do this:
1. Go to virginmedia.com/tvanywhere.
2. Select Manage My TiVo from the Virgin TV Anywhere menu.
3. Select Copy TiVo settings from the menu
4. Choose the TiVo box you’d like to copy the settings from.
5. Choose the TiVo box you’d like to copy the setting to.
6. Pick the settings you’d like to copy.
You can then review the changes and confirm you’re happy with them, once you do you’ll see a confirmation message. Once you see this it can take up to 30 minutes to complete.
If you have more than one TiVo box already and aren’t sure which box name refers to which box you can find the one you want by finding the TiVo Service Number (TSN). The TiVo Service Number (TSN); is a code that is unique to each TiVo box and helps identify it. To find this:
1. Use your TiVo remote and go to Home > Help & Settings > System Info > System Info.
2. Find the TiVo Service Number (TSN) on the first screen you see.
3. The last 4 digits of the TSN should match the last 4 of the box names at the end of you’re my Shows list on your TV screen.

I'd go with those. Sorting out MRS would be a big one for me. I'd also like to see Sky Sports added to the TV Anywhere streaming channels. Hopefully a few more of the missing HD channels like Universal and Nat Geo Wild will be added as well as at least some of the Sky ones.
Oh and in terms of the free cake, gluten free for me please!
