I was told call back on 14th December, quote the persons name who set me up on 50% off friend and family in the first place, and they'll give me another full year at 1/2 price!
Must admit it's looking very unlikely I'll be coming back to Virgin. SKY are giving me everything for just under £63.00 per month.

Great deal , I have a discount part of which ended last month meaning my sub has increased making it cheaper elsewhere , a call to retentions may be in order.

I have only said that we will be getting the missing Sky channels. I don't know what else is coming, apart from the BBC channels on 10 December. I do not have 'insiders' but I have done my research.

Well with Chad and his master sticking to the dark side this thread is clearly back on track.

Like everything, Paul, nothing is absolutely certain when it comes to dates. Reports of launches may well be correctly reported, but then a technical glitch or something else happens to delay it and everyone is up in arms. Just need to relax a little.

Nope and am more than happy to stand corrected , i did already state that my sources were giving conflicting information and i have got rid of them and only kept 1.
The one i have kept has said no more channels except for bbchd this year.

Would you be prepared to make your case in open forum? It could lead to some interesting debate.

Sky have the ability and muscle to offer skysports and movies half price. Sky will let vm broadcast the likes of Atlantic but it will be at a high price.
They are coming but when - nobody knows.

But you could say that its the loyal customers who are consistently subsidising the customers who get half price deals either by moving suppliers or getting retention deals year after year.

I don't think it matters what I say, to be honest. It will still degenerate in an 'oh, yes it is' 'oh no it isn't' debate and although this is the season for pantomime, I'm a little tired of it.
You know what I think, and we know what you think. Let's leave it at that and we'll see who's right soon enough.

I don't think it is a case of who is right or wrong, not sure why you would bring that up.
But seeings as you did......
I predict new channels will launch at some stage in the future too, much like SA apparently will. I don't know when they will launch either (like SA), but when they will come I will be able to say I was right too.
Its bone fide information too, I have done my research which I don't need to share.
