Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
On the fields of Trenzalore at the fall of the 11th a question will be asked. Silence will fall. Possible spoilers for upcoming Christmas episode.
Silence must fall. This is likely where Smith's doctor is killed and thus silence falls. I think the shocker will be who kills him. River Song anyone. What if she was never meant to kill him on the beach and it all leads to this moment when the question is asked.

Yeah, was thinking the same but I don't think they'll ever credit Hurt at as a numbered doctor and continue to credit him as the time war doctor. Pain in the arse really.

She didn't kill The Doctor, she killed a robot version of him if I remember correctly.

The Time Lords dialogue said 'All 12 of them' 'No, all 13' (or thereabouts) when the brief shot of Peter Capaldi was shown along with all the others

Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
Ok ... Folks please *stop* using spoiler tags to discuss things that already happened, and things you think might happen. It's not a spoiler unless its stuff that s actually going to happen, but which has not yet been revealed.
Edit (Paul) : I have removed all the spoiler tags, as Chris says, they are not needed for the things being discussed.

Spot on but she did in fact kill him in Let's kill Hitler. It's just something that sprung into my mind. Maybe he just slips on a Banana.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
That was just amazing.
Everything was epic and a great tribute to the last 50 years.
Capaldi was there too. Even Tom Baker too.
Moffat really pulled it off.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
Seems like it was enjoyed all round. Anyone not like it? Where does it lead? Gallifrey is essentially still locked in a bubble albeit not in time anymore. It can be found but should it be? I suppose it also leads towards possible character returns such as the master etc.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
I grabbed a whiskey and coke, turned up the media centre and just sat there eyes wide open watching it all unfold... Gotta be the best Doctor Who episode yet...

Re: Doctor Who : Season 7 & 50th Anniversary
10.2 million viewers, according to the overnights: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-25076912
Totally pwnt the X Factor which got 7.7 million.
I reckon The Day of the Doctor should have had total viewing figures of around 12 million by the time timeshift is added.
