I have spent many hours on the phone to them and they have admitted to me that I should only be charged for one, but the billing system apparently won't let them correct it. I keep having to phone up to get credits put on my account which just seems mad. With the extra £3 TIVO charge, two VM price rises and a Sky increase my bill went up over £15 in 12 months.
Likewise, I gave up trying to constantly battle them about this issue, most of the time they refute the fact that TiVo was ever charged £3 per account not per box.

No idea what am being billed for either now regarding TiVo and also Multiroom as I was meant to have the V+HD Box moved FOC and not charged but somehow appears on my billing depending on what 'deal' I am currently on.

At the moment I have under 'Your Package'

Talk Weekends
Free Voicemail
TV Size: X L
2 ADD Set Top Box(es)
TiVo Monthly Fee
Broadband XL (Up To 60mb)
Loyalty Customer

Last month, just before I re-contracted it had

Talk Weekends
Free Voicemail
TV Size: X L
1 ADD Set Top Box(es)
TiVo Monthly Fee
TiVo Monthly Fee
Broadband XL (Up To 60mb)
Loyalty Customer
Premier Collection

Problem is, most CS staff don't even understand the whole billing/bundle/collection/loyalty/discounts thing they do, so what chance we got!

Indeed Paul l quite agree with you as Virgin's billing model is like a maze within another maze and even then most people still don't know where they are going.

It has been a big year for Virgin however I'd say Talk Talk are right up there as provider of the year. They have defied all business forecasts and have become a real player at the budget end of pay TV.

You've obviously never tried to join them then. I know three separate people who have attempted to join talk talk and ended up canceling their orders for varying reasons.

They might be doing well at the budget end of pay TV Chad but their broadband and customer services by all accounts and reports is simply dreadful.

We have three boxes in our household which consist of two TiVo's and a VHD box which does not record thus for a second TiVo box we are charged £11.50.

Talktalk also get my award for clowns of the year , horrible company i lasted 3 months with them and got my cousin who is a solicitor to look at the contract. She got me out of the contract as TT were not providing a satisfactory service.
TV constantly broke up due to their stupid dynamic line management , time and time i asked them to turn it off and leave my speed at 6.7mbs where it was most stable.
CS were as much use as a chocolate teapot if you think VM are bad wait until you experience TT.
The DLM also made my avtual broadband very unstable.

Fox + Move

Now confirmed news that Fox + is moving into L (from XL), it seems to me that XL is getting less and less value for money
