TV stuff: Yamaha RX-V667 receiver and Mordaunt Short Alumni speaker system converted to 7.1 using some ancient MS15.2 speakers. The tv is some kind of 42" Samsung LED thing, it works.

Music: Musical Fidelity M6i integrated amp, M6CD transport/DAC and Pro-Ac Response D18 speakers. Chord Odyssey speaker cables, Chord Indigo interconnect

42" LG HD TV, custom built HTPC running XBMC, IR remote control. All movies, TV ripped to HDD. Connected to a Sony amp, not got speakers as I am considerate of my neighbours. Use Sennheiser headphones through it.

Don't really listen to music.

With our 5.1 audio, we've noticed that since the sound comes from a number of speakers pointing towards the seating area, the sound is concentrated in that space. From the next room you can hardly hear it.

Now if I can only persuade the neighbours to do the same.

Just looking at a 50" LG 50LN578V for my new place along with a SONOS soundbar as a start.
