Thanks for the info. Yes 380SD info was via the info button. Guessing there is congestion on the link the internal modem is using then, not good. Assume this is segmented from the main broadband network?

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Will be fine when people hqve used their months free trial and the numbers using the service drop dramatically.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Has anyone had any issues after latest Tivo upgrade , lost any recordings? I have lost some recordings that I had not watched and not found them in the Deleted list either!!
This is disappointing and annoying , just wondered if anyone else had the same?
Virgin TV Admin - any ideas why this has occurred?

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
Not seen any reports of that happening, but you'd be best to report it on the official support forums.

Yes mate, you will have to lose any loyalty discounts to get it though. So you may not benefit financially form the six month deal.

Brilliant move by Virgin. Really stealing a march on Sky.
Netflix for 6 quid a month. Steal.

Not for everyone, what about the loyal customers who happen to have a discount on their account for re-contracting with VM.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix
In my opinion, there should not be any form of loyalty discounts ... everyone should pay the same price.
Stands back and waits for the comments .....
What I mean by this is that either Virgin do not make any form of profit, or we are grossly overcharged.

The Netflix offer is itself an offer to get people to recontract.
You've already done so and in addition, as you've said yourself, your offer is better than the Netflix one.

Yeah I would have lost 12 months of £5 discount to get Netflix free.. free trials it is then.
|
Offers VM do aren't random, they are there to achieve specific business goals, so I don't see why there is an expectation that you can always stack them up.
