Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
So if someone was to trigger Remys contract clause the transfer would happen at the end of his Newcastle loan ?

That's the way we have it as it's a paid loan. I.E a loan fee was paid on top of Newcastle's contribution to wages. It's looking ever clearer he'll be bought in January like HBA was. The possible sale of HBA will contribute to this.

Michael Carrick is facing an extended spell on the sidelines at Manchester United that could rule out the midfielder until Christmas after under*going a procedure to resolve a persistent Achilles injury.
While the club were initially hopeful that the injection could see Carrick recover in time to face Cardiff City in 10 days’ time, senior figures at Old Trafford confirmed last night to the Telegraph that the player would be sidelined for at least a month and potentially as long as six weeks.

John Ruddy or Fraser Forster will start for England against Chile. The odds of Krul starting permanently for Holland are slim. Shame England didn't knock when they had the chance.

I think Fraser Forster could be a good keeper, he needs to be playing in a higher quality league though to be in contention properly.

Yep its the champions league football that's gone in his favour and fair play to the lad. He would have been Steve Harper/Shay Given if he'd stayed at Newcastle.
I think the Joe Hart situation is overblown. It's like pretending Seaman never made an arse of things. David James was worse than Hart.

Indeed he was known as calamity James at Liverpool.
