From what I have read from those who have had the update, I must say you make a very good point, Netflix appears to be a very nice bonus and very welcome addition to the TIVO.

It seems we are getting closer and closer to our American cousins with their TIVO experience. I wonder what the next major update (whenever that may be) will bring.

I dread to think what I would do without TIVO, and that is before I have even received the update.

On past form your area and mine (02) was one of the first to get the double broadband speed increase.

Re: TiVo Update/Netflix

My poor Samsung Tivo didn't survive the update last week (sob!). Had to have a replacement (a Cisco this time) and had a fun weekend trying to remember my wishlists! All good now and the Tivo does seem more snappy. I like the new wishlist entry screen especially.

That's really unfair, a few at the most have had issues with the update.

There's simply no evidence of that.
