Yes, but also I understand that things like series links are done in the background whilst your back watching the main screen.

Re: TiVo Update / Netflix
I haven't seen the annoying red circle since we had the update. No waiting for things to be deleted, you can move on immediately after you have set up any recordings or alterations to your links. I all feels so much more responsive.

Re: TiVo Update / Netflix
Can't wait for Film Suggestions finally along with recording things I have not watched before unlike what it was doing before which was just recording repeats of things I had already watched usually.
Can actually switch the Suggestions function back on then

It was 20w on, 18w standby because of the amount of work TiVo continues to do when it's in standby. I think there are power saving features in the new update though?

Re: TiVo Update / Netflix
One thing doing my head in about this latest update is the power saving mode, anyone know if there is a way to turn it off?

Interesting cos the link to what it entails above clearly states you switch the mode on not need to turn it off.....

To change the default to use of one the other energy saving modes or to switch this off go to Help & Settings > Settings > Devices > Power Saving Settings
|
However, if you press power on the remote, it still goes into the standby setting
