Yes, my understanding is that so long as you can get wi-fi (which is pretty widespread now), then calls are for the making !
An excellent idea that will save me a fortune calling the missus !

Say someone on landline and you want to ring a 0800 number you use the smartcall app and wont be charged.
Or say landline in use by family and want to ring a number u can use smartcall to do so and comes out of ur landline allowances not.mobile specially abroad its like taking ur landline abroad.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 5.
So is that a bogus review on GogglePlay saying very easy to use?
Also I had no interest in this app until you mentioned 0800 numbers. They cost a fortune to use from my mobile so this might actually be worth while just for this. I wonder if you can cal faults on this when your landline goes down.

No the reviews wont be fake or bogus as some virginmedia staff would have tried it and by other methods.

Yes that's what we were told - it's tied into your landline package so whatever benefits you get with that are replicated when using smartcall.

While it's a handy service for some, should this not be discussed in the forum for VM Phone services and not Coming Soon to TV?

Has anybody heard from the revered BomberAF lately as he seems to have done a Lord Lucan on us.

Any news on SKY News HD, SS news HD or SS 3 and 4 HD coming to VM.
Its seems to have gone quite on these rumours.

It's been a bit windy here in Kent, but really not that bad - had a lot worse in '87! What's Lifetime?

Hopefully MB can update us of any further news in the next few days as there are strong rumours that they will come soon.

That's probably because you just get abuse from the naysayers whenever you try to give them some good news.
The missing Sky channels are likely to be with us very soon now, but certainly this autumn.
