Of course weather can cause issues with satellite reception , on the whole though if your setup has been installed correctly by a competent installer the downtime over a year should be minimal unless you live in an area renowned for extreme conditions , if the issue was half as bad as this forum dramatises it to be I'd expect Sky to receive the highest percentage of complaints from its subscriber base among pay TV operators.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 5.

Has anyone seen the Premier sports Virgin media advert,

http://my.virginmedia.com/customer-n...er-sports.html

"We've got some fantastic news for all you sports fans. We've signed the brilliant new sports channel Premier Sports. And to mark the occasion, we're giving it to all our customers for one month, at no extra cost."

Two paragraphs later......................

Tune in to Premier Sports (CH 551) from Friday 25th October to catch all the action. And, remember, it's free for all our customers until the end of the year.
: dunce:

At a guess we may see the CBS channels renamed?
These channels keep being bought and renamed every few years! I wonder if this impending sale had anything to do with the CBS channels being placed into M TV until at least 31 December 2013?

It's not fictional drama if these are real experiences by real people. I do expect Satellite reception to be hit by bad weather first and I'm sure they will have the highest number of complaints regarding this.

Two paragraphs later......................

Tune in to Premier Sports (CH 551) from Friday 25th October to catch all the action. And, remember, it's free for all our customers until the end of the year.
: dunce:
Typical VM, for a communications comany their attempts to communicate with customers are either non existent or laughable.
