Lan Connection problem

I recently cleaned up my pc with anti-malware software and somehow changed some setting in my Lan connection, and in order to get it to work again I had to restore my supehub's factory settings and i also did a hardreset on the modem itself. My internet connection is now back however LAN is still awkward, when connected wirelessly im able to surf webs normally without any problems but when i switch to LAN im having troubles playing youtube videos and always get this message "An error occured, please try again later" (and videos from other sharing websites) and websites such as yahoo and ebay, i can however access facebook and forum websites such as cableforum.co.uk.

Thanks alot

Re: Lan Connection problem

Sounds more like a plugin problem rather than a LAN issue.

Try reinstalling Java and Flash plugins..

Videos works when i reconnect wirelessly and all website are accesible, if it were a plugin issue the videos will not work regardless how you are connected to the internet

Re: Lan Connection problem

Check DNS / IP settings on your LAN adapter. DNS issue would cause problems for all sites I'd imagine but I cant think of anything that would cause issues for some sites and not others.

EDIT: Make sure IPV4 is enabled on the adapter, sounds weird but this was an issue I came across at work the other day, could only access IPv6 enabled websites because IPv4 was not enabled.

Re: Lan Connection problem

On your PS3, follow this guide http://manuals.playstation.net/docum...ctadvance.html

Or Windows 7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/w...cp-ip-settings
