Re: Check my modem levels please.

In addition to JB's valid question, can we know a little more please?

1/
Is the disconnection on a wired or wireless client?

2/
What do the modem lights show when this happens? 10 seconds is fast for restoration fropm a circuit reset so we need to know if it's gone down on the circuit side.

3/
Can you please post the network log showing the period when such a a drop occurred?

Cheers

Re: Check my modem levels please.

Ok here is a updated power levels screen including a network log just after a drop out. This is a wired connection with a 10db forward attenuator.

With regards to the hub's lights. Top light(blue) quickly blinks. The next light down(green) is solid and the bottom(green) is off.

Re: Check my modem levels please.

Yup power levels are too low, if you take the attenuator off and reboot what do you power levels show?

Taking the attenuator off will give you a better signal

Re: Check my modem levels please.

We had a similar problem, power levels were too high so we had a 10db attenuator put on, but last week the levels got too low (for whatever reason, colder weather?) so had to remove it or the modem wouldn't lock onto any channels

Re: Check my modem levels please.

If your power levels are fluctuating so much as to throw off a 10db attenuator then I suspect a bigger network issue...
