Re: Wifi Problems Superhub 2
The SH2's wireless is unquestionably better than the SH1's. Never mind that it's dual band, the range is definitely better and throughput at range is a lot better.

That's an interesting one, I wasn't aware of the 5Ghz power thing. Still, is it anything to do with cheap equipment or so that we don't get an influx of routers blasting noise onto the nice clean 5Ghz spectrum?

It's wireless, there's any number of possible factors.

No, the tech guy say super hub 2 is the only way forward as virgin media going to get rid of superhub slowly. Because they going to bring in 200 and 400 meg soon.

Considering they both do the same number of channels, that doesn't make any sense at all.

Re: Wifi Problems Superhub 2
My 2.4 wireless has gone down tonight for the first time since upgrading to the SH2.
Had to reboot the router.

Faster CPU and wireless to better handle the higher speeds locally?
Doesn't help if you have a modem doing 10 gigabits if the router component can't actually deliver that to the user...

Good point, there is that. It does seem a bit far-fetched though, coming from the above.

Re: Wifi Problems Superhub 2
tech guy just change to 144 channel 9 on 2.4Ghz wifi and turn off 5Ghz as he say it not needed. But 2.4Ghz only getting 42Mbps on wifi on iphone/ipad. I try 5Ghz but still the same 42Mbps no real difference.
What are your setting gasdfdsaq on both 300+450?
