Better console and better exclusive games perhaps.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion i guess. My feeling is the PS4 is way better in hardware, it is just whether in the real world it will make any difference when the games are side by side.
Saying that there is always a small chance i may get an Xbox One but currently unlikely until i see the same games run side by side and this is coming from an Xbox 360 owner as you know.

Controller. I'm going to be using it for more hours than I'd like to imagine and I just cannot happily use a dualshock after using a 360 pad.
Reason why I changed is the drop of the Kinect requirement, otherwise I'd still be with PS4.

You play games purely to look at ? . So your telling me if you played shooters you would rather play call of duty ghosts with a minuscule difference in graphics than go for the better gaming experience with one platform providing dedicated servers. Games are about the gaming experience surely ?
Better graphics do not make a better console

Or a game.I've gone back to Settlers 2 because it's a better game than all the sequels..Not on the Xbox of course but I am making a point that the best graphics in a game don't give you a better gameplay..

Yes the controller is 1 thing that is bugging me especially now it has force feedback triggers, as i have always prefered the 360 controller so IF i was to go for the PS4 i would hope their controller has improved alot.

I play games i enjoy, so if 1 console is able to make a noticeable difference in the quality of graphics and gameplay then i may be more inclined to buy that console.
Hmz, i hadn't really thought about the impact of not having dedicated servers, and if that is in every game then it may prove a problem for me if it is an issue, so that is something else to think about and weigh up the pros and cons of each console when people finally have their hands on both to review and compare.

the difference between the 2 GFX chips being using will not be massive, I do not personally think the ram will make a huge difference either
If what happens is how I expect and PC gamers benefit from the consoles X86 architecture then the most powerful console will be a gaming PC lol

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I know i am going to have to wait and see before buying as i don't want to jump the gun here and wont buy both.
The Xbox One is far more appealing now that you can unplug the Kinect crap though i must admit........ Only a few months left for me to decide what is best for me.
Are you going to buy 1 of them Tizme?

My killer point is online games. So i think it will be xbox one.
But not thinking to hold off, and wait and see.
I feel indecisive, I think.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Is there a rumoured release date for the Xbox One yet?
After watching Titan Fall and other games and i also like the changes to the controller with the rumble, i may be interested in the Xbox One again.

No date other than "November 2013" but it wouldn't surprise me if they make it within a few days of the PS4 launch

Re: The Xbox One Thread
The inquirer seems to suggest 29 Nov
http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/...d-availability
That (as vOid suggests) would put it the same as PS4.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Where is the recommended place to buy the Xbox One on pre order as i have finally decided to stay with Xbox?
And are the cost of the games likely to be cheaper than £50 when bought in the UK as that is a joke, surely they will be if we can import them for around £38?
