if it does and that is a big if then BT will have to redo all there ads that they have made for TV with the ones saying about sky only.
i do think that no talks have taken place this week and nothing will happen and we will lose out on BT sports.
VM must know by now if they will get it after all they have had months to come to a deal.

I tend to agree.
If BT are in this for the long game, they would look for anyone thinking of going to Virgin for broadband, to say they will offer you free sports with their service.
Will it erode Virgin's base customers? I suspect some will go, though some are so anti-BT /love Virgin regardless that they will never switch (NEVER NEVER NEVER)

It's not the case of a love for Virgin, it's more the case of I'm not paying what I've been quoted as the same amount for a less than 20mb broadband service (with estimated speeds of less than 1.5mb). ADSL just cannot provide the speeds I need. Until Infinity is in my area, I won't consider them, and they have already said there is no plans. I also stick with virgin for the TV as Sky cannot offer a good price due to the amount of additional boxes we have, which when we tried to order Sky cancelled out any half price offers due to the offer not applying with that 3 additional boxes (plus the boxes being £10 extra each rather than £6.50)
BT are in it for the long run but apparently from July 2014 they will stop receiving it free regardless of what broadband package they are on, will people be willing to pay?

Once is enough dear and its not a question of being anti BT or Sky anything but why swap a Rolls Royce broadband for something that's is spluttering along on the motorway at 5 miles a hour all the time and yes there is no doubt Sky has its strengths but for a overall package Virgin is both cheaper and better for many people still.

I found this on the guardian website
"
BT says it has no plans to charge for sports next season, but the free HD offer will end after a year. After that, customers who want to continue with HD will pay £3 a month. The company has Premier League football rights for three years and the rugby rights for four years."
So, yes, you are nearly right, will BT customers pay for the extra HD charge. i will.

I have no reason to think it didn't happen. They would only need to survey 1000 customers to get representative results, so the chance of any one customer getting the survey is very low.
Here's a report of a similar survey
http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/35...-post2693.html
The results would be confidential.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 4.
From VM forums - i think if statement is accurate just shows why VM fail to get BT and Sky Atlantic - the arrogance that it is somehow a privilege for these companies to have their channels on VMs platform! VM need to learn their place at the table - they are the supporting cast not the lead role!
From VM Forum -
"Hi just to update you about where we are with BT Sport, we're still actively talking to BT to see if they’d like to join our Premier League line-up. We know how important this is to you all and as soon we have any news from the negotiations we'll post it here, on Twitter @virginmedia and on http://www.virginmedia.com/btsport."

I am hoping BT Sport will launch sometime next week in time for The Premier League but Sky Atlantic is looking like a pipedream again...

My nearest package with VM would actually cost me more so who's cheapest clearly depends on your requirements , as for BB my experience of VM was one better forgot although to balance that my parents get a near flawless service.
