Well it's past my bedtime now. It wasn't when I started reading.

OT, but you might want to pull your finger out. When you get to 'after september' you could well find that you've left it too late to lodge a claim with the employment tribunal, but then I'm sure you'll know more about the three month time limit for dismissal cases than I do.
Cheers

It helps if no one then quotes the purveyor of bull excreta so that those of us who have him on ignore are not troubled by his posts as he trolls around the forum.

Why close the thread? If young_timbo annoys you then either put him on ignore or skip his posts, and don't read the parts where he is quoted in other people's posts. It isn't difficult to do the above.
Personally I like to read them; there outrageousness fascinates me and often makes me smile.

So. I see that Ocav, or anybody for that matter, has acknowledged my reply yesterday. I saw him on here too. So he can't say he hasn't logged on. Instead people ignored it, and continue to insult me instead of admitting nobody saw that coming. and that i smashed it right out the park.

Re: Have you changed/cancelled your account since ESPN closing?
Actually no young_timbo, In response to your reply you failed to answer my question and instead just listed to me a vision mixer, and an encode which could easily be found off the Internet. I asked how you would connect it up?
I also asked how you would transfer the feed to playout, you just said you would operate playout manually. Not how you would transfer the feed.
Also hope you enjoy that mansion. And your PS4. Some people don't need to brag about things to enjoy their life. I personally work 7 days a week on a project that isn't giving much return at this very moment, but will do in the near future. It's called working for a living. I don't know if you understand that. As pointed out by another poster good luck trying for a tribunal at the end of September after your legal time to apply has expired. Rather than waste time watching football and playing games and sitting on your throne how about looking in the back of your local papers for some small jobs to pass the time. Oh wait sorry I forgot that was beneath you.

To be fair, I don't recall young_timbo saying that he was an expert, or indeed had any knowledge at all of the technical side of TV sports production and broadcasting. So why did you expect him to answer your question in the first place?
I could be wrong on that, so if I am please point out where he made those claims.
IMHO young_timbo does deserve challenging on some of the things that he posts, but as I recall, he claimed to know about when the matches are played who has which sporting rights etc., not the technical side of TV sports production and broadcasting.

Re: Have you changed/cancelled your account since ESPN closing?
lol. i clearly said much more than that in my reply Ocav and for all intents and purposes answered the question with bells on. and if you knew as much about it as you claim you will know part of your first question, and part of that reply were an attempt to deliberately mislead me with a trick question. you know what i mean, so let's just keep which part between me and you
I have a job interview on friday actually, and that is the main reason I decided I probably wouldn't sue them. I still could until September, as my contract was only terminated at the start of June as I was on hiatus, and could have stayed on hiatus longer but they offered me my current holiday hours and i felt like making an easy £400 quid, so i took it. But yeah, I wasn't aware of the 3 month thing. I'm not entirely sure when i was sacked. bit messy. so I'll bear that in mind. I need a reference off them for this next job, so I dunno if it would be a good idea. Especially as this job pays much more and I have a bird on the go who doesn't know I'm unemployed, so i could do with the job, and also Mr Porter have done an amazing drop today and i would like to buy a few things.

I know. I only answered it for a laugh, because I am obviously clever enough to understand it and much more.
give me a book be in nuclear physics, or the complete works of shakespeare and i will at minimum understand it and normally be able to write a university standard paper on it. if there's something in it for me. my great grandad was a british-jewish professor of chemistry in the war and actually helped out in the war with his work. so with those inherited brains there's not much i can't read up on and gain a grasp of better than the average man in the street.
I only said I am an expert in football broadcasting in the UK and foreign premier league rights. ever since i said that i have been challenged, as you say, on my knowledge of professional broadcasting production techniques, and bizarrely challenged yesterday by somebody who expected me to be able to predict 5 random results from the Championship. Despite me never once claiming to be a psychic.
This forum is filled with pedants so it's no surprise people aren't actually reading what I'm saying properly. That's why expert in football broadcasting in (context of watching matches for leisure as a fan) = you are head producer for sky sports, and a world renown psychic.
