Not bad for a Sky salesperson.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.

The XL pack on VM is currently £5 more than the equivalent Sky Entertainment Extra+. Which VM will say is due to Tivo but I'm not sure that Tivo is worth the £5 extra a month, especially now Sky have started copying some of its features - you can also get a 2TB box free at the moment on Sky. Plus now there is no V+ you can only compare Sky+ to the price of VM with Tivo.

They have got to do something really, the only thing that justified it being £5 more than Sky was ESPN. I wouldn't say even getting Sky Atlantic is enough really considering it is on the basic Sky pack.

They are exactly the same without Tivo. Also remember Sky have only recently dropped their price with the introduction of Sky Entertainment Extra+, before the equivalent pack would of been £5.25 more, therefore more expensive than Virgin Media.

If you drop Tivo though then you don't get a box that records, so its not really comparable to Sky+. I guess they rely on people to take bundles which masks the differences in the individual services.

I've just noticed it because I have dropped BB and Phone from Virgin and would have taken Sky for TV but its going to be too costly to get it installed in my flat.

O Come All Ye Faithful
Joyful and triumphant,
