It sounded more self contradictory than credible.

I kinda stopped reading after he suggested that Sky and BT had made an agreement with VM that VM hadn't actually agreed to...

Yes but apart from the suggestion being unrealistic, he was saying an agreement had been reached with VM but also saying VM hadn't agreed to it.. so actually not an agreement at all.

I hope we get BT Sport soon; some decent content is on them channels. Luckily, most of Manchester City's big games are on Sky Sports; I have that package.

The Premier League is the biggest most important product of any form that the country produces, and loads and loads of people want to watch it. And the other sports they show. That's why contrary to Cable Forum belief, it is a massive, massive big deal to not get the channels, it's horrific business and not 'good business for Virgin' at all. loads of people are leaving and even more will leave if they haven't got it on the 17th, and no absolutely other channel can adequately fill in for BT Sport. Because you can't watch live barclays premier league matches on Nick HD and Sky Atlantic, so everyone wants to leave.
Just like I said
(and was told by everyone I was wrong)
|
You are wrong, again. Football is not and never will be the most important product in the country. And yes I am a fan. Also everyone are not leaving, it will be a small percentage.
You need to find some kind of perspective in your outlook, and possibly think before you post After all you are educated as per your earlier post.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
JohnR5573, I think you are totally wrong regarding football is not a big product, Football is a major product for TV, thats why each week thousands tune in to watch it basically every day of the week.
Yes, l am a big football fan and watch it any time, big follower of Tottenham and will go to any length to watch them play, thats why l am so adamant to obtain it on Bt Sport. VM should give into the consumer. As at the end of the day we pay for the price - the only problem l can think of - is how much profit can VM make out of it, never mind the price that BT Sport want to charge for it . 17th August cannot come quickly enough for me.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Arthurgray, I did not say it's not a big product. I said it's not the most important product in the country. There is a very big difference between the two. If you think about it I'm sure you'll agree.

Just seen someone tweet this web page screenshot, I don't know the website but it looks like a FAQ page for BT Sport on Virgin Media
