My thoughts on the BT Sport saga - the best possible deal I think is for it to be included with the Sky Sports package. Not getting my hopes up though.

Sorry, but I fail to see how BT will agree to their sports channels going into same package as SKY Sports. Unless I'm being dim.

I've not had the message come up when tuning to ESPN? A sign?

However do you think if we still had 5 channels you'd be watching live premiership football?

We're not talking about 'any price' though are we. why do people keep saying this?
We know the price. it's "free" as part of your XL sub, or "free" as part of you VIP sub, or £12-£15 per month on its own.
We know the price. So hurry up and do the deal.

I meant content outside of the sports channels.
And do SKY sports offer much more in comparison (as much as I hate to admit it)?

I think they'd prefer it to go to every VM customer to get the ad revenue up. VM will want it to be a pay package to keep costs down. Same issue was arrived at with Premiersports

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Apologies if this has been mentioned, but I just received a Sports brochure from VM, promoting all the coming sport on all main channels such as Sky, ITV, BBC, etc. No mention of course of BT, so might be VM's attempt to hold onto customers in the wake of losing ESPN and possibly not gaining BT.

because that's the price. worst case scenario should it come is it's £12-£15, same as sky. what evidence is there to say it would be more? £12-£15 isn't 'any price', it's £12-£15. That's my point.
