I just finished my shift in the Wythenshawe call centre we have had 50 -60 calls queuing all day all about bt sports

On Thursday I said in my e-mail virgin are having a football day we have been told to dress as footballers.

there has been about 12 e-mails flying about for overtime on Thursday for retention calls the more we save the more tickets we get to Manchester united Manchester city matches.

we have also been told that a video conference will happen with bt at 22.15 tonight from hook in Hampshire.

in the retentions department we have been told that if a customer really wants to leave we may be able to offer sky sports half price for 6 months but not in hd. or a broadband upgrade or spotify free

our comms department are saying that virgin is looking to launch bt on the 17th august

I have spoken to the network team (head end ) Bromley they told me they have been told to allocate 4 channels for the 12th August for a slate and when I was messing around on our test boxes hear in the faults dept. channels 992 993 both showing a picture of the bt tower in London saying (bt feed ) mpeg

Exactly we have seen this before . They are trying to keep customers hanging on until 17th then nothing.

Hi, I am new to the forum, although I have read posts for many weeks.
Just thought I would let you know that I chatted to one of the employyes on the BT website, as follows:

Dougie: I am currently with virgin and want BT sport, I imagine it will not be available on that platform?
Elizabeth: Unfortunately not at the moment
Dougie: But they are in talks at the moment - so I imagine I will have to wait and see?
Elizabeth: We do plan to introduce this but we do not have a date for this at the moment
Dougie: I understand - but is this likely to be sooner rather than later. I dont mind paying for it on Virgin?
Elizabeth: I unfortunately do not have any idea when it will be available at the moment
