Don't think I can bear coming into this thread tomorrow. Think I will leave MB's blog open overnight and then refresh it in the morning. I just want this to be over, so we all know one way or another. Agree that this is the one place VM could improve on is keeping customers informed.

I'm still happy with most of what Virgin has to offer, TiVo, much better BB than any other provider, more HD channels than ever before, and still the same amount of non sport channels, so all in all im pretty happy with what i've got, just means a few extra trips to the pub to watcgh the games i want to see..... ......

Same here. They don't show the sports i like so they are of no interest to me, additionally there level of service that i had from them in the past ensures that they will never be my provider again as long as i have a hole in my bottom.

This finally confirms what I always thought that BT have no intention of making BT Sport on Virgin Media. They will use it as a stick to beat Virgin and its customers with.
I for one will not be blackmailed into taking out BT services, I do not want.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
I have already rang to cancel my virgin and given a line of hang on a few more days virgin are trying to get bt sports on the cheap so once its launched they have a better chance. I buckled and said I will give it a week if not I'm off to sky. To be honest I feel like I'm just wasting a week but hey ho x

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Just to add my reason behind it is I can get sky half price for 12 months so I can have sky sports and bt sports for cheaper than my virgin without any sports (euro sport doesn't count)

I think that will be the case for many, with ESPN was nice to have the odd premiership game, FA Cup and MLB but as a package Sky Sports is miles better. I used to get SS two months a year, for US open and final football month, I'll continue to do so and probably MLB online.
Shame BT are going to miss out on some subscription money, I'd have paid up to £10 a month for BT Sports HD. I doubt hoards of VM customers will move to BT as both their broadband and HD offering is shocking. All this will do is encourage VM customers to move to Sky especially if you are a rugby fan.
