I only said Spurs were a major club to avoid any backlash tbh. I don't see Spurs as any kind of threat at all. They are a p*ss pot team. we'll waltz past them in the league this year as we have done for about 50 of the last 55 years. For the sake of the thread i have been being diplomatic. if this was the pub i'd have cleaned house by now, and send all the "Premier League is no more popular than 24!" brigade back to the flower shop
the pub would have no windows left intact with people being launched head first out of it

So it's frustrating for me to be on a place like this. I am only here to get news on BT Sport coming to virgin. was hoping for good inside news but none yet.

You need to get those blinkers off and enjoy the amazing world of variety we live in, live a little.

Chill.
I'm sure it will turn up. I cannot see Virgin not having it, but you may have to wait a while longer. It's all a numbers game.
I do like football, but as I am married, there are certain delights that are now forgotten - football being one one of them !

ahh I can't really say I'm not jealous of that. I would love to have a saucy saucepot wife from west sussex, a minx from west sussex and get to score with her whenever I wanted!!! would be brilliant! I would give up BT Sport for that. But alas I have to make do with the footy for now. I'll dance like singing in the rain if it comes to BT. I'll join in with all the non sport fans and dance and sing with them and listen to their pop music, as I will be very pleased. Hopefully thursday.

I'd be careful if I were you; talking to such camp people. Before you know it, you'll be enrolling in a Flower Arrangement night class, and then all your current mates will stop talking to you. Mark my words; it's the start of a slippery slope mixing with all the non sports fans on here.

The poster said that because all the big teams play in europe, that the 12.45 saturday slot will mean it's not usually them featured. But here is the fact. Saturday 12.45 games are not affected by the champions league only the Europa league. The only major team in that is Spurs, and they are on BT Sport a few times. Champions League is Tues/Wed, meaning they can play 3 or 4 days later. The Joint biggest draw (by that I mean draw, because we have the joint most fans and are also the most hated club so the most interest surrounds our fixtures, and we are on TV 9 times out of the first 13) Liverpool are not in europe, so we can play every week at 12.45.
So really no big teams are affected by this except spurs, and they are still on it 2 times in 3 months.
So please do not tell me I am wrong, when I'm not. i'm an expert in everything to do with football coverage, it's my life and my only major interest, and i am never wrong on any of it. cheers

Only one of the Tottenham Bt matches is directly after a Europa league match day. I'm prepared to bet that they'll be at home on the Thursday.
