Final day of the transfer window is going to be barmy this year. That Jim White bloke will be peeing himself with excitement, they'll need to put a nappy on him.

Real Madrid will offer Juventus between €20-€22m for central defender Giorgio Chiellini, according to reports.
The Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that Los Blancos are keen to add the Italy international to their backline with Pepe strongly linked with a move to Manchester City.

He is a excellent defender in my humble opinion.

SSN: Real Madrid have informed Luis Suárez's representatives that he is very much their second choice option behind Bale.

Tottenham are in the driving seat. Arsenal could be screwed if Bale agrees to stay on another year. Adz Levy has the world in his hand at the moment, if Tottenham get CL this coming season thats CL revenue + Bale money = stadium (not the whole thing but a solid stepping stone)

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Spurs could end up next year with no Champions League football and a Gareth Bale worth less than £20 million. There's absolutely no guarantee Bale will have another season like last. Ronaldo had 3 incredible seasons at United scoring an unbelievable amount of goals (more than Bale by far) before signing for Madrid for a record £80 million.
£86 million for Bale right now? Daniel Levy has lost it. It's a gamble to keep him and assume you'll end up in the Champions League and still be able to flog him for £80 million, it's less of a gamble to do off with him now and invest in an incredible amount of money.
The Real risky side is him not performing at Madrid...
I don't get it with Bale, he's certainly not worth that price but he's not as such overrated. I think he's drawn attention by being the one man show at Spurs. Robin Van Persie scored more and had more assists than Bale last season and for me it's about the total.
Juan Mata, Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla all had great seasons but have received next to no recognition. If anything they're all just as good as Bale. Eden Hazard had a decent opening year and will only get better, he's not far behind Bale and if anything in a few years will be better than Bale.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
absolutely Ronaldo done alot more to justify his tag but since Ronaldos transfer the game has seen inflation rise. Real President Perez loves breaking records it seems, SSN had graphics up earlier on all his record signings which he, Perez single handedly continues to break. its all politics over there, bigger balls and all.

Aye its all a bit crazy. Luckily if they splash the cash for Bale they won't be chasing Suarez and that allows Arsenal to remain favourites. Even if Arsenal could keep up with RMs ludicrous bids would you actually want to pay 50 million upwards for him?

Are you seriously comparing Bale and Walcott? They are miles apart in terms of ability and performance last season. Bale was the best player in the league by some distance last season in my opinion, put him in a better team than spurs and he will get even better.
