I think they're referring to WiFi in a home network scenario not tv
, ie streaming music and video from a PC or NAS, etc.B

True, but if we wre not getting BT Sport then we would lose ESPN SD/HD and the 2 channels EPG's should say the same from 1st August as ESPN Classic/America...

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Anybody else think that maybe the ESPN and ESPNHD channel listings are still available because VM and BT have reached an agreement to still have those two channels in XL but BT Sports would be a stand alone channel?
And the test channels could possibly be SA & either SA+1 or SAHD?
I do work for Virgin, I'm just specualting like the rest of you, We've been told nothing at all.

"What happens to recordings I've made from the ESPN channels?"
Anything you’ve recorded from the ESPN HD/America/Classic channels will be there to enjoy until 1 November 2013. After that, they’ll disappear.
Why would recordings disappear for ESPN HD? That to me suggests ESPN HD might not be available on Virgin Media going forward.

If I was bothered (not), I might speculate that it is only showing the ESPN channels because they are the only channels that will exist from the present setup (as the other ESPN channels will cease regardless, so won't have any content to show)
So you could presume that ESPN is only showing because it has content to show, but not necessarily will it be available along side BT Sport

ESPN will very likely be moving to a different playout on Thursday so the EPG data stream would be different for listings 1/08/2013 onwards...
