Thing is VM might have some added value up it's sleeve that isn't sports based?

I personally don't want more sport for my money, in fact I don't want any sport! My guess is I'm in the majority.

Yes, I am with you. I think they should ban sports from Virgin channels.

Who else is with us?

I guess Virgin is in a a different situation where ESPN is marketed as included with XL (without looking at how Smallworld does do their packages) so the loss of BT is more felt within the Virgin hub of packages as for those who have benefited by its inclusion whereas Smallworld consumers have always had to "opt in and pay" so to speak

I know we have speculated on whether SA could be a substitute for loss of ESPN (for better or worse for some) but again he mentions BT in the same breath as SA "exclusive" so if there has been some movement providing SA to virgin customers it hasnt been felt down to the smaller players yet (lets not forget that Virgin isnt the only Cable operator in the UK albeit it is the largest).

Might's are no good Clint because the days are ticking away and with more price rises coming and the removal of ESPN from the XL pack Virgin better get their skates on or the simple fact is that they will lose quite a few more customers to their rivals unless they have something significant up their sleeves...

Well lets face it, people aren't exactly rushing to BT.

There are things VM could bring to the table that increase there numbers that have nothing to do with BT or SA.

I agree
Oh Virgin, are you listening
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight,
We're walking in a winter wonderland.

And gone away (gone away) is the bluebird (is the bluebird),
But here to stay stay stay is a new bird.
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
We're walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you're in town.

Later on (later on! ), we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire, babe
We'll face unafraid
All the plans that we've made,
We're walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,
And pretend that he's Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you're in town.

And later on (later on! ), we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
We'll face unafraid,
All the plans that we've made.
We're walking in a winter wonderland.

We'll face unafraid,
All the plans that we've made.
We're walking in a winter wonderland.

We'll face unafraid,
All the plans that we've made,
We're walking in a winter wonderland.
(Walking in a winter wonderland.)
