If you actually read the article its only 3 as Kids and Beeb 3/4 will share slots,
Id guess that for VM and maybe Sky they will split the channels up like they do on standard def, its just freeview they will space save by only using one channel?

They are on channels after 10pm on Freeview and Sky asking you to phone in and talk to them - why can they go to an pub I do not know.
You can see them live on the channels but with no sound - you can see the same thing every weekday in the Sun newspaper.

So you put your kids out in the rain and the snow all day do you? You know very well that all kids (well maybe apart from yours) spend some of their time indoors and it is perfectly legitimate for some of this time to be watching a bit of TV.
I do find your apparent attitude towards children to be very controlling and completely without compassion or empathy. No-one of my generation as children had colour or multi channel TV, HD and the rest of it, but I wouldn't deny that to my kids just because I didn't have it.
But maybe you're a very nice person really and just trying to be controversial....
