Just got a tweet back from VM, as I had asked them if they had heard the rumours about Atlantic, they have tweeted that that the rumour mill was doing overtime, and that they can't say either way at the moment!.

I guess it's wait and see.

Totally agree however last year we, as I was a Virgin customer last year, where duped big time in terms of channel launches. So many raised hopes that turned out to be false.

Let's see what the 1st August brings. Keep your expectations low, that way if Virgin do deliver it'll be like Christmas on here.

Well if he is, and the information is correct, he is putting himself and Virgin at risk of breaching Competition Law. Not a smart move to share your companies future future plans and strategies in public, prior to deals being finalised or announced. An employee should not discuss or share or submit or otherwise provide competitively sensitive, confidential information to competitors or through third parties to competitors, i.e. future company plans, policies, strategies, ideas etc… Third party competitors such as SKY, BT, Talk Talk and YouView can easily visit this forum and get access to the information.
