Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Like I have said I am not coming on here for credit or to cause an annoyance, I have come on here to divulge some information to you. Come August 1st both BT sport and Sky Atlantic will be on VM as part of the XL package. They will both be in HD, I don't expect you to not question me, but I will now post no more but mark my words that before August they will both be announced at the same time.
The reason the Atlantic one may have come as a bit of a surprise is because VM are going to use it as a big PR boost with its customers. Announcing BT Sport and Sky Atlantic to be arriving as part of the XL package, would be a very big PR boost to keep its customers happy.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
I want to ask a question and anyone can answer it.
IF, VM sign up to carry two sports channels for BT Sports(an example), and have a contract for two years. Then approx a a couple of months later, BT decide that they will carry a further sports channel - then would that third channel automatically go onto the VM system, or would it have to wait till the contract is up before adding the third one.

Good point.
BT sport open new channel, put all the games there.
Leave BT 1 and 2 for scottish football, and other minority sports. And ESPN for fa cup football.

Some posters just want this to happen so much that they will take any obscure suggestion that the channels could appear as confirmation that the deal is done and they will arrive. Other posters are more reluctant to believe anything until it happens and will treat leaks as unconfirmed rumours. There have been many stories of channels about to appear "leaked" onto these threads in the past which have failed to materialise, so a degree of suspicion is to be expected. Another problem is that you haven't established a track record for providing this sort of information, so many will take what you are saying with a pinch of salt.
August 1st will be here soon enough and we will all get to see if these channels do actually arrive. That's when you will start to establish your reputation for reliability.
Interesting times...

I would imagine they would have problems filling an additional channel without acquiring more sports rights. I'm not so sure that there's that much more for them to bid for in the short term.
BT have stated that channels are being sold as a package and not individually, so that would suggest that any additional channels would also be added as a part of that package.

Although I said I wasnt going to post I will post once more. I am not looking to be a regular leaker of information this is just a one off, media boy will continue to be the regular man in the know.
Like you say August 1st will be here soon enough, but you won't have to wait that long it will announced sooner.
