Re: [MERGED] Windows 8 discussion
Not sure if this has already been posted but right-clicking on 8.1's start button brings up some helpful options albeit on a lesser scale than left-clicking on 7's button.

Re: [MERGED] Windows 8 discussion
Gone back to Windows 7.
8.1 looked like it was going to be really good, as I had none of the problems that I got with Windows 8 in terms of installing drivers and random crashes.
Then I tried to play a game of COD 4 and it locked my pc up fully, and I then tried it the next morning again and this time other games that were working stopped working.
Looks like I will be on Windows 7 for a long time yet.

Re: [MERGED] Windows 8 discussion
Back to 8 with an install of a evaluation copy of windows 7 going back on tonight then a ceremonial burning of my windows 8 key and deletion of the email with it in so i cannot install it again in my lifetime. Then i will pay penance for being so sodding stupid as to have bought it in the first place.

Has it changed from 8's right click in the bottom-left Russ?

Re: [MERGED] Windows 8 discussion
Has anyone with 8.1b been able to remove it or reinstall Windows 8 RTM without having to start from Windows 7 again?
