Glasto Red Button channels
Am I going insane !? Half an hour ago I was watching Glasto on BBC Red Button channels 1,2,3 on VM channels 911, 912, 913. Now after a comfort break they are no longer there ?
Have I done summat to hide them ? Anyone know how to get them up?

Re: Glasto Red Button channels
Should be on 991,992 & 993, other IP based streams of other stages should be available from pressing red on a BBC channel and clicking the links.

Re: Glasto Red Button channels
I've been watching them tonight and it's proved really useful that they are on actual channels so they can be recorded. Excellent!

I hope people are enjoying the Glastonbury coverage. I couldn't believe how much I did not like it. Will stick to Wagner :-)

Channels 991 to 994 are one of the best additions to TiVo in ages

Re: Glasto Red Button channels
Now I think I am going insane.
My mate on TIVO has access to all 6 stages LIVE.
I am on V+ and I only have acecss to the crappy 4 red button channel highlights.
Is this for real?
£90 a month for this and I don't even get proper red button service?
FFS. I really am at the end of my tether with Virgin.

Yes it is, because that is what the way BBC have designed it to be.

Have to say it seems to me the reason they introduced them was because of the absolute awful, awful, unwatchable quality of the TIVO red button.
They (BBC, VM, whomever) ought to be utterly embarrassed.

Ah brill. That's ok then.
It's not like I've been looking forward to this or anything.

The reason the BBC introduced them is that it is the only way to get extra content on to all the platforms, after the reduction of the previous streams due to the 'Delivering Qualify First' review
Not actually anything to do with the quality of the BBC streams in their Connected Red Button app

your mate is using the BBC Glastonbury app witch is an internet connected app due to the tivos internal modem that allows stream the content off the bbc website. so if you want to keep up with the latest content you will need to upgrade to a tivo box to enable you retrieve this content as the V+ cannot pickup this content.

Re: Glasto Red Button channels
Last year we were moaning as we didn't have the red button properly on Tivo. Now we're moaning as the pic quality isn't great...

Re: Glasto Red Button channels
Pretty much unrelated but still with the BBC theme. Is anyone getting sound interference on BBC HD 108, getting an annoying clicking noise. Other channels are fine.
Cancel that, seems to have stopped

Problem with that logic is that people with a £30 media streamer can access the iPlayer red button content.
But paying £1080 a year for my Virgin Media subs doesn't.
That's where my frustration lies.
