Either SKY or the BBC are not going to look good at the end of this.

Old box was the 500gb...so I will notice the difference | how much?
we paid £149 for 2tb box, and got free sky+hd for multiroom.

It's a saleable asset in a way, there are some on ebay for £129 used.

The following link was provided to me by the legend that is Muppetman!http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/n...rts-offer.html
"BSkyB is to announce significant price cuts to its broadband packages in direct response to competition from BT Sport."

"A statement will be issued early this week, according to sources, and will concern the company’s internet and television bundles . The announcement is said to be a “market changer” and in retaliation to BT’s new free-to-view sports TV."

Just found this:

This is the letter going to some O2 customers before they officially move to SKY later this year. However it seems SKY are offering even better deals than this one:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free...tomers-1556592
"Sky are offering free TV and Broadband for a year for O2 Broadband customers in advance of the switchover of their service to Sky. It's the Entertainment Extra+ service with 48 HD channels etc, plus their Broadband unlimited package."

If this is the type of thing SKY is planning to fight BT and BT Sports with, next week could be very interesting for SKY TV customers with SKY Broadband.
