Any news on The Sony Movie Channel? I think Virgin are maybe only 2 or 3 SD channels away from having a perfect line-up. If you turn a blind eye to the channel SKY aren't allowing anyone access too, there isn't too many worth while channels missing from Virgins EPG, in my opinion. I think Trace Sports would be a good addition to the Virgin line-up.

Seriously?!? We already have the Universal content (albeit in SD.) We have very minor amounts of contents from the food and network and travel channel. I would love food network to launch.
howardmicks, I apologize for doing this on your post, but MB has taken a lot of stick for his grammar recently (and I am fully aware mine is nowhere near correct.)
However, I do wonder if the recent uprising of grammar police will pick up on the grammar (and spelling) in this statement, or do you only want to pick on MediaBoy? Personally, I think you just enjoy bashing MB (wrongly in my opinion)

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 2.
What about BSkyB? How much of an assault on its UK dominance will Virgin Media now make? “Assault is the wrong word,” Fries asserts.
“There’s a very strong history of co-operating and working well together. I don’t anticipate any fireworks whatsoever in that relationship.
“Tom’s a great choice to run this business and not just because he worked for News Corp for 20 years. He would have been a great choice either way. There’s been no negative reactions whatsoever from News Corp.”

Liberty seem to be very broadband orientated. SKY are very TV orientated. BT are trying to encroach on both markets. The days of Virgin Vs. SKY may be coming to an end. Both companies have a common competitor. SKY and Virgin may become closer than ever before.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 2.
I doubt BT will be much of a threat to TV for a good few years considering their current setup means you have to use a discontinued set top box plugged in by ethernet to the only gigabit port on their home hub so you can get access to about 15 channels that are 700 EPG slots away from other normal channels.
No multiroom, pathetic channel line up, you have to be in a fibre optic area, hub has to be near the TV or you have to run a length of cable...
Essentially IPTV ain't ready for the big time yet.

BT don't exactly have HD channels bursting out their ears either.
