That's pretty good then, though why they didn't get it for the ITV channels is beyond me.

For clarity I just tried tried recording a minute from each of those four channels before checking that box from another box.

Vintage, Create & Craft, TLC HD = Yes, MRS works for what I recorded.
NHKWorld HD = No, MRS doesn't work for what I recorded.

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?

They should publish a full updated channel list for MRS then as there is no way of knowing a channel works unless you test it.

They also need to get the finger out and get some channels from 101-199 sorted!

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?

It's rumoured that Sky will have a similar feature in the not too distant future. It's a guess, but I suspect that they will have more channels enabled.

When Sky's service does arrive, VM will have wasted what could have been a great USP.

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?

This was one of the reasons I opted for a 2nd TiVo and I have to admit I'm still shocked at the lack of channels supported and disapointed. VM should be doing all they can to improve this ASAP so they have one up on their competition.

Same and probably used it less than a dozen times since getting it around a year ago!

Called up recently to see how much I'd save dropping it, and was told cause we have a couple of loyalty discounts, any change would loose them and negate the saving..

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?

It works on all channels if you get an AV sender or some wires. Plus you don't have to pay VM for an extra box.

Except it ties up the display on the box your watching from. Multiroom streaming does not have that major problem.

Thanks SP

Any chance VM can update the list on their website?

http://store.virginmedia.com/discove...s.snippet.html

Also some channels from 101-199 would be better, any chance?

Don't know. BenMcr: do you know who can get this done?

Err... apart from MTV Live HD, they are in that range. The Quest & DMAX channels also have MRS enabled.

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?

Would be nice to have a proper updated list, am sure that one on the website hasn't been updated since launch.

Even better would be some kind of symbol on the EPG or in My Shows that quickly identifies what can be streamed using MRS.

Or even on the online EPG, perhaps a drop down similar to filtering by HD, Streaming etc
