Apparently they couldn't take the first bite into account, I think they.should appeal and get the guy some help at the same time.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
He certainly needs help that is for certain, he has had problems since he was 15 so how anyone can help him is debatable.
An appeal does also run the risk of a longer ban if it is considered frivolous as well.
He could quite easily have been facing a charge of ABH or common assault if the Chelsea player had made an official complaint. He should take his punishment like a man but then real men don't bite like little children or animals.

Serious enough to warrant a 10 match ban, but not serious enough to take any action against the odious evra's infantile behaviour on Monday.
Double standards again.

Its not just him that'll suffer though, Liverpool will as well, I think five games would've been appropriate, that way he misses the chance of personal glory in the scoring charts and misses the first game of next season as an extra reminder without wrecking his and Liverpools pre season, I don't think an appeal would be frivolous.

What Suarez did was utterly deplorable but 10 games frankly that's way over the top as a 5 match ban would have been a more suitable punishment.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
So is it against any rule, pretending to bite a false arm that someone else has thrown onto the pitch after the game has finished.
What on earth would you charge him with?

You are of course joking, yeah?
In an ordinary world of employment, if you go around biting other staff, you get sacked for serious gross misconduct and worse still, get arrested and charged for GBH.
10 match ban and a pocket change fine to him?
He has got off very lightly.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Its a total disgrace from the FA, they are not cracking down on racism, diving or serious foul play, but a player bites another player l dont consider that a 10 match ban.
Probably a five match. But, this is typical of the farcical way that thwe FA act. If it was Man Urd Sir Alex would be fuming at the ears. Total farce.

Which would you prefer? Being called a name, or being bitten. I prefer neither, and expect harsh punishment for both.
In this case, persistent offender getting harsher treatment..hurray

I have very little sympathy for Liverpool, I do feel sorry for Mansfield Town who got cheated out of the FA cup match by his blatant handball, I also feel sorry for Stoke who lost valuable points when he admitted diving for a pen. Time will tell just how much damage his goal against Chelski has done, it could still cost them a top four finish when he shouldn't have been on the pitch. I also have sympathy for Ghana after his cheating at the World Cup.
