I know, but it is a different story as Sky priced it out of the market instead of Sky saying no as some seem to believe here

Wonder why? Well, I don't think you need Sherlock Holmes to answer that little mystery.

No, that isn't true. It is only a rumour that only a Scot gets to hold the purse strings in companies

Well put, Sky knew no-one would pay the asking price but some people on here and DS seem to think Sky said no which they did not, they just priced it out of the market

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 2.
Yet again people are talking about how it was too much for VM to pay, Sky wanted too much etc, but no one can seem to give the figures they think are too high.. not one person.
And that article linked is over 2 years old, is the situation the same? Or has anything changed since then?
Or is it still too high?

The figures have never appeared from either side on the asking price for Sky Atlantic...

Exactly so apart from that article over 2 years ago, no one knows. Sky say it was reasonable, VM said it wasn't.
So depends what side you believe, the other is wrong
But people on here seem to think they know it is too high, so come on then, how do you know that without knowing the cost
