Unable to watch recorded programs
Now I'm new to Tivo so if I ask something which as been asked before, please forgive me.
Can someone explain why a problem with the network ie "No Network Availability"message, stops me watching recorded programs? Surely the are recorded on the hard drive, aren't they?

Re: Unable to watch recorded programs
Same here near Edinburgh. Only seen this once before in the early days of TiVo, if memory serves it's a server problem.
Not a regular thing, don't let it put you off TiVo which I reckon is a superb product

Re: Unable to watch recorded programs
Same in London
You should still be able to watch recordings by pressing play instead of OK

Re: Unable to watch recorded programs
There seems to be a major fault. Check the service status. I expect that a fair few techy people are tearing their hair out and have a ruined Friday evening (much like their customers)

The error message is a bit misleading. You need to press play whilst the programme is highlighted in My Shows or the sub-folder.

Re: Unable to watch recorded programs
Your right that is very misleading, you can play recording that way. But it's not your fault. VM should explain more clearly

Re: Unable to watch recorded programs
There is a fault disruption.
You might be having trouble with your TiVo functionality with "No Network Availablity" message on Home Screen plus issues when signing into TV Anywhere app on smartphones or iPad
Fault reference: F002416256

Re: Unable to watch recorded programs
Had the message in the Stevenage, Herts area since 11 this morning. Been watching recorded shows all afternoon with no trouble. Things are being recorded as usual as well with no quality issues.
---------- Post added at 19:51 ---------- Previous post was at 19:50 ----------
Under Service Status, it says issue not due to be fixed until 3.45 pm tomorrow.
