Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 2.
UPDATE:
I have still to get Vintage TV confirmed as launching on Virgin Channel 343 on Tuesday.
Will any of the following also launch?
-Animal Planet HD
-E! Entertainment HD
-Universal HD
-Create & Craft
But I do know QVC Active will stop broadcasting on Virgin Media tomorrow.

As far as I'm aware, the only two US TV Network shows that have gone on to Atlantic are The Following and Blue Bloods; all the other US TV Network shows have gone on Living or One. I understand the premise of Atlantic, so accept that US cable shows go on there, but it really annoys me that Sky have started to put US Network shows on there. As for the British shows going on Atlantic, I don't care one way or the other as they just don't appeal to me.

On the subject of Sky's British shows, what's happened to them? We used to be guaranteed a new, unmissable British sitcom every few weeks, but it seems as though they have given up on them.
We should all forget about getting Atlantic on Virgin, it isn't going to happen, and I for one couldn't care less.

Yep missed those. That makes it even worse!
FNL was picked up by ITV4 a few years ago and they dumped it so doesn't really count in my view, and Seinfield has been shown on other channels.
Smash has been shown on Living, though there is no guarantee of them showing season 2 on Living.

Currently there are no confirmed plans to launch in HD on the Virgin platform. However, the channel will be available on Virgin Anywhere from the end of March, and on Catch Up from June.
|
From an email with Universal, not sure if I've already posted it or not. Presumably Anywhere got delayed or is happening next week.

The launch of Universal HD has not been confirmed by any insiders just that rumour on DS Forum on Feb. 21st. Link was posted today at 13.36.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 2.
I'd say its a fair bet that we aren't getting Universal HD (and E! HD).
If they can tell me that they're launching Anywhere and on demand but not HD, a deal with Virgin has obviously been made (and signed, hence being able to tell Joe Bloggs via email) and HD ain't included.
