blueyonder email just wont send

I have a problem with my blueyonder email, I am using an android phone and often it just won't send email for days then it sends fine. It happens the same on mobile connection as well as virgin Wi-Fi.

The settings I have are

smtp.blueyonder.co.uk
Port 465
SSL/TLS all certs
Account username is primary email
Password is the password.

Any ideas it is driving me nuts!

Re: blueyonder email just wont send

It shouldn't send on the mobile connection via their smtp for security reasons but it should send fine on your Virgin broadband wifi.

Who supplies your phone account?

You need to use their smtp server

I am on the giffgaff network but I don't use them for email. I use my blueyonder account when I can't however at this rate I might migrate to Google mail because it is a right pain!

sppoted something straight away replaced the blueyonder.com with virginmedia.com as that is the servers name now same with the pop3 setting and have port 995 showing, if you have these setting on your pc It should work and have you connected it to your network by using ssid and passphrase of your supper hub. if you only have modem and router not sure how you connect to your network if you at to use a password try that

If you are not connected to your blue yonder WiFi then you need to use the giffgaff settings to send e mails; they will be the same as O2
