I record every programme I want to watch and this way I can avoid the ads altogether simply by fast forwarding.

4HD has superior picture quality to the Sky Movies HD channels, as does TCM HD.

We had a poll on HD picture quality and opinions varied dramatically on which channel people thought was best....

It's still a pain, I use sky movies as a way of watching movies I don't think are worth acquiring or renting on blu-ray, so film 4 is so way down on my list it doesn't really merit a mention.

You still require a TV license to watch live TV on the internet, they're pretty much future proofed forever.
