Had 2nd TiVo installed today want to connect it so I can stream between boxes and use the TV anywhere app on it. When I go on media access key it says temporarily unavailable, any idea when it will be available and why it says that?
My other TiVo box is on my network fine has been for ages now, I use the TV anywhere app.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
TiVo takes 24 hours to fully activate on all systems. You should get your MAK tomorrow (you might be able to get it sooner by perfoming a manual network update)

Thanks.
Got my media key now set up TV anywhere for second TiVo box. Just need to set up streaming content now, working fine on my other TiVo box but not new one. New TiVo it says video sharing disabled how do I enable it. Got home plug plugged into both TiVos.

"Virgin Media Inc. (VMED), the U.K. cable-TV provider being bought by Liberty Global Inc. (LBTYA), plans to make Web services like Netflix a more integral part of its offering rather than fighting them, its chief executive officer said.
“Our approach is to get every content asset you possibly can on the platform,” CEO Neil Berkett said yesterday in an interview at the Cable Congress in London."

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
A bit light in actual quotes - if anything it just seems to be a rehash of the old "hundreds of apps" line, mainly on the basis that Berkett has said there will be no change in strategy. This despite the fact that we know that this actually means expansion of the cable network based on actual quotes made at the time the takeover was announced. Much more telling in my opinion was Fries' failure to commit to TiVo past the end of the current agreement.

Although, personally I'm not surprised at that - CEOs are paid to not make future commitments on a whim.
What I mean is if he had said anything about keeping TiVo past the current agreement, then it shows their hand in any negotiations with TiVo when the time comes

That sounds good news on the face of it.

Agreed, but as Andy said, we've heard the Netflix/Lovefilm type services bit before and nothing has come of it. Having repeated it, they need to make it happens this time, and fairly soon.

Well, unfortunately, they have not committed themselves to a timeframe.
